Watch this video in Dene: https://src.nu/cleans22dene The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is successfully collaborating with all project stakeholders on the 2022 work season as part of Project CLEANS (Cleanup of Abandoned Northern Sites), a multi-year project to remediate 37 abandoned uranium mines in northern Saskatchewan. Due to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, SRC consulted with community and provincial leaders and decided to share project updates by video this year, but we look forward to meeting with community members in the near future. Learn more about the work that was done in 2021 at the Gunnar Mine and Mill Site, Lorado Mill Site and the Satellite Sites, and hear about the plans and work happening in our 2022 field season.
